Default Goin All Motor

ok......i wanna try this all motor thing before i do a gte or a na-t. i'm just wondering, what mods can i do besides the usual intake, exhaust, cam gears, headers can i do to get me in the low 15/14's??? so far i'm going w/ the JIC exhaust, HKS cam gears and i'm working on getting the XERD headers w/ some HKS cam gears. anything else you guys can help me with? like do i need a fuel management system? if so, whats the best? i've read bout some using the Motec and some using the Apexi. and would me buying a set of grounding wire/system help much??? get me back up guys...thanks for the help.

their are more to all motors then basic cams, intake, header, exhaust.
you should start from the inside out.
building the internals of the motor.
Running higher compression, forged pistons, valve job, etc.

going on all motor is a waste, but if you choose to, add the safc onto your list. And I think those grounding wires also help a little but only 3-5 hp, but on all motor every little bit helps.

Port and polish should be a priority.

Might as well toss the Apex ITC in there or do the Greddy E-Manage

Grounding wires??
yeah it is just a set of wires that connects the negative terminal directly to a bunch of different points in the engine bay. not sure how it increases power, but supposedly it does.

electricity, comes from ground potential. the difference in potential is called voltage. the more ground potential, the more voltage.

buying a "kit" rather than just going to the store and getting the wire yourself and some terminals..... well, that's a difference in my opinion.

ok then.....question bout the fuel management situation...whats the best way i can go...apexi or a motech. heard pluses bout both of them but whats more....i dunno...efficient and would yeild the most power. and for the internals...arent the stock components good enough? since u all do turbo ur engines up on stock pistons and so forth. i dunno...fill me in here. port and polish......is a deff though.

Here's a list of what I would do if going all-motor. Intake (injen or a decent home made one), extrude hone intake manifold, under drive pulley's, electric fans, cam gears, xerd header, straight single side exhaust (no cats or a high flow one) , ignition wires/coil, and some kind of air/fuel management. Going n/a is gonna cost some bucks to do it right and the results won't be as spectacular as a turbo.
