One word. Learn how to drive. What your car can potentially do doesnt mean you can drive at the level.
Sorry... my computer got stuck..... thats is why so many duplicate posts.

i guess this was your first time?
im sure you can get way better times with better tires.
you need alot of work on your 60ft. 15sec cars pull 2.2 hehe
you should be pulling 1.9 with a good driver.
hope you're not gunning it off the line, this is a turbo car, so spooling will make you lose traction through the first 3 gears.

I absolutely guarantee that no one can pull below a 2.0 with my tires in this car. In fact, I would be willing to bet on it. I don't think she has much more than a 2.2 in the 60' with 225/45 Toyos on her. I am sure I could slap down a 1.8 on DRs or something, but I wasn't there to try to make the best run in the whole world, I was there to have some fun, and I had a lot of fun.
Thanks for the constructive criticism, but I am very happy with my times.
The reason I drove on such small tires is because I am worried about breaking my tranny, which I very well may have done that tonight even with those tiny tires on
You guys also need to understand how HARD it is to 1) drive my car and 2) run on that track.
Beaver Springs starts you on an INCLINE, so you drift back at the line. So now, rather than worry about launching and watching the lights, you also need to worry about how you are going to stay at the line ... I was using the e-brake, so I had to watch the lights, drop the e-brake, slip the clutch, have the throttle perfect, then go. I will be hitting a better track once I figure out what I broke in my tranny tonight, then I suppose I can make all of you guys happy with some better times. But just for reference, my car will only be seeing the track on street tires, ever.

Thanks man. Honestly, it is virtually impossible for me to have off work when the track is open. I didn't go to a track of choice, this is the slowest track around with the highest elavation of our 3 closest tracks. Even the owner says that it is 2 MPH slower and .2 slower than other tracks ...but it was really the only thing that fit in my schedule. Once I figure out the tranny, I am probably going to ask off on a Friday evening so I can hit up Maple Grove, which is one of our nicer/faster/better tracks. Only problem there is ... huge wait between runs, lucky to get 3 runs in a night.

Angel, those are awesome traps on pump gas. You know there is at least 5+ mph trap increase on an SP63 on race gas. Definitely 11s if you wanna break it. I'd suggest the 6spd to get into 11s on street tires. I'm gonna run the TRD Auto LSD on slicks and just feather the clutch on shifts, that way I can at least dig in after the 1-2 shift.
You've definitely got more oomph up top, I've ran 90 1/8th traps on a 117 1/4 trap. You've gained quite a bit more than that.
Just for comparison, I'd like to see you run a Z06 on a 60 punch. If I can walk them, you must be able to absolutely annihilate them.

Good times Angel. Speaking from experience, as is Scott, these cars are extremely difficult to hook up. That open diff is a piece o' crap
I've only had this car to the track once so far, but will try another pass this friday before I start collecting parts to install my 6spd
My best run at bpu+ was
2.2 60ft
13.0 @113mph
Best trap 115mph (still have a couple lbs of boost left in her too )
Anyways, I've been wondering. Even if you bolt up a set of drag radials on this stock diff, you still only going to have one wheel hooking, granted it will hook better with that one wheel, but is it really worth it? just a thought.
