Cool Pics of my gauge cluster

Inspired by One Last Try, I decided to try my own gauges. I did these a little different than his but the idea is the same. Check these out and let me know what you think.

PS - My wife did most of the work. Pretty much all I did was pull the cluster and take it apart.

She's a little more patient than I am with the small exact type of projects. On the back of the gauge face there is a white piece of plastic. All we did was cover it with some blue tinted plastic from the craft store. turned out pretty good I thought.

LOL, well tell your wife she did a nice job and thanx for the DIY.. I may look into this way of doing it when I get around to messing with my cluster, right now I am focused on my CAR PC / Audio system...

Pioneer DVD. Just a heads up for the people who were thinking about trying this way. Do not do it. I pulled the cluster again last night to work on another problem and the plastic I used is already warping from the heat. One Last Try's solution sounds like a better alternative. repeat DO NOT DO IT THIS WAY.

Why do you not recommend it? I tried it and the blue is definately dimmer. Do you notice the same problem?

It's dimmer than the stock lights during the day. I can hardly read the numbers. They are just glowing and moving needles. =)
