Emblem Options?

Here's my situation. I have gold emblems on my black SC. My chrome wheels are coming soon. I will have to replace 2 of my 4 emblems (instead, i will replace all) because i need to get my trunk spot-welded and repainted (converting from 95 to 97 spoiler)
What options do I have for my emblems? I could go gold, chrome, black chrome, or stainless steel. I was thinking that if i go with gold, i could gold the rivets on the wheels, might look cheesy or good. chrome would look allright, but the black sc looks too plain with chrome/stainless steel (my opinion). or, i could use black chrome and black chrome the rivets on the wheels, but black chrome on black might not look good. What else could I make my emblems? Other than the 4 listed above, all I can think of is platinum.
opinions, comments? thanks.

my 2 cents
I had the same situation.
I opted to get rid of the gold emblems, w/custom platinum plated ones. They are a showstopper, they don't look like chrome, and have a richer chromy look...
The gold just looks old nowadays..so I wouldn't get the
tire things and the other things you were suggesting.
You have a dark car like mine(dr green)..so the black gold emblems don't look good at all. Those emblems look awesome on a grey or silver or white car..but not
off the darker paint.
So my suggestion is to go w/chrome, or if you can..get
platinum plating.

Which color?
I have a white 1992 SC300 w/ gold emblems. B/c sum of the gold has worn off it is time for me to get new emblems. Any1 have any suggestions on what would look good on a white SC? (My pic is in members rides if the chrome wheels would change opinions on the color)

lol...
hehe... the soarer monster.... The only gripe I have with having the Soarer monster is that it's too dark and doesnt stand out. My ones are deep red in colour. I think that's the only colour I've seen them in. I was actually going to remove the Soarer monster and replace them with silver/chrome Lexus badges but keep the "Soarer" enblem on the back.
The soarer monster is also alot harder to clean then standard badges because it's the monster badge with a plastic black surround and really needs a toothbrush to clean properly.
Cheers,
Toan.
