Default SC life restoration

After we bought a couple new Lexuses. I came upon a 1994 SC400 for $1200. Car was in decent condition for its age. Engine bay needed some cleaned up. Interior was hard and crackin’. So far I have replaced the steering wheel with an IS version wheel. Currently working on replacing the door panel fabrics and repainting the rear bumper. Now, I’m no experts on working cars in generals, but this SC is eating me up. I’m learning new things like, repairing scratches and fixing door dings and repainting the car. Heck I even learned how to sew. My plan for the restoration is the keep it as stock as I can with new fabrics and new parts as needed, while trying to keep the cost down as low as possible.

My buddy love my SC so much that he also went out and bought himself an SC as well, lol. I’ve put so much time in this restorations, that every time he see me. The phrase, “SC life, brah,” came up.

So without further a do, I give you some of my progress pics. Enjoy. Warning: I know some of the stuff doesn’t looks so perfect, like the stitching pattern etc., but give it time. I will get better at it.

First piece I finished. Again not so perfect, but I can always redo em.

Great job man, keep it going, there are less and less good sc's too chose from, so if you get one that's worth saving go all in, because they're going to be very unique in next 5-10 years!
