SC 400 No Power to Windows Sunroof Headlights and No Start
Hello friends,
I recently purchased a 1991 v8 SC400 from a friend who was going on vacation for a few years, just before he left the Lexus was at the dealer and had 2400 worth of service done to it with receipts in the glove box. Some how the car stopped working on him and he decided to use another repair shop which couldn't get it running again so here is what I know, they changed the steering column out and key fob and claimed it needed to be reprogrammed to get it all to work again, however I see a hot wire going to the fuel pump, not sure why the mechanic was testing that, anyways I have the car in my possession now and the windows are stuck open along with the sun roof. I am mechanically inclined but not with Lexus. Can someone point me in the right direction on this thing, I checked all the fuses in the fuse box and they were all correct in size and good. The car seems to be all stock with OEM radio and CD Changer, thanks

Update: I been researching all evening and tomorrow I plan on testing the igniters using a test light and ohm meter. The goal here is to determine if the car is getting spark, if this test pass I will move to checking the fuel pump circuits and relays. Simple using a jumper wire going from B+ to FP on the diagnostic port. I’m thinking if I have fire and spark it should start. If it doesn’t start after testing the igniters I will go after components
If anyone would like to lend a helping hand with words of wisdom please chime in.
