Default Cheapest prices for OEM Parts?

Where's the cheapest place to get OEM factory parts for a 1993 SC400. I've got to get the Timing belt, Water pump, and upper and lower idlers? I can currently get them from my local dealer for $494.08 right now, but that sounds like way too much to me. Anyone have any good sources?

www.lexuspartsmall.com

www.spartanmotormall.com

Both have discount genuine Toyota/Lexus parts. I have dealt with both and they are very helpful and always cheaper than my local dealer.

No problem. Are you planning to do the timing belt & water pump yourself? If so, you should invest in a set of shop manuals. Also, if you intend to replace the idler pulleys because the bearings are going out, check out this thread.

This is an inexpensive easy fix. I replaced the bearings in mine for less than $20, and it took less than 30 min, including repainting the pulleys.

I'm going to have a shop do it while I'm gone this week. I'm going to check all the prices from the places that you guys mentioned, and decide who to buy them from, then have them put it all in. I don't have the time nor the knowledge on this vehicle yet, but I plan to in the near future.

boredguy77,

I did a search and it would take forever to find his info. So, if you've got it handy, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks,

Chris
