Default After being scammed

Many of you might have read my thread in the lobby about my getting scammed and going through all the trouble. Well, I still haven't gotten my money back and I am doubtful that I ever will. I have the VIS kit (purchased it thinking that it's a T&E kit as advertised on E-bay) sitting in my storage room, and I don't know what to do about it. Any recommendation as what to do with it? I am thinking of selling it for 3-400 bucks...but don't know where at.

Well, a month has passed, and I bought a JIC Magic kit from Steve Ganz at Carson Toyota. It's on its way to the body shop and will be installed next week. I will let you know how things go.

Resell it on ebay (under the VIS name so nobody else gets ripped off- but not that you would do that)

Why is nothing working out for me regarding my car??!!

The bodyshop that is supposed to install the JIC kit backed out and doesn't want to do any work on my car. (it's a regular collision shop) 1st reason: they are swamped with insurance related work load. 2nd reason: they simply don't want to do any custom work.

The kit is already in transit to the shop, and i'm currently abroad and won't be home till late august.
I am so POed.

It's probably a good thing. If they don't want to do it, it probably means they wouldn't have done a good job (either competence or a half *** job). Hopefully, they will hold the kit for you.

I don't think thats the same thread... You are talking about the guy that bought the stock 97+ nose off another member and claimed that he shipped it in a small box (which caused the damage).. I think this is a completely different thread

Yes that was a whole different thread regarding a 97+ nose. That was also UPS's fault, not the CL member's fault.
