Best protection for my SC

Best protection for my SC
As some of you know I just got my new SC HERE. Well of course I brought it over my GF's crib in Yonkers and spent the weekend over there as well. To make a long story short my GF actually talked to some cats who were actually planning on stealing my SC300 and robbing me too. They knew what color the car was, that it was a 5spd and even knew that I had Ohio temp tags on it. They didn't know that they were talking to my GF. Anyway so now I'm like damn, I can't even bring the car around there anymore, I'm not worried about them sticking me, just more or less the car. What should I do. Is the factory alarm enough to prevent theft? What is my best means of protection against theft. I've also thought that even if they can't steal it they might just vandalize it out of anger. Maybe I would better off just leaving the car at home but what would I drive?

I think your GF needs to move to a better neighborhood.
Seriously, you need to be minful of where you drive your car. You don't have a boring Hyundai, you have a very dersirable Lexus. Keep that in mind and park accordingly.

in all seriousness, the only real way to save your car:
1 - stay out of that n'hood in that car
2 - get a real alarm system...DEI with the interactive remote comes to mind
3 - if at all possible, garage the car
4 - make sure to get max protection insurance...talk to your agent about your options
5 - and yes...were those guys friends of hers?
If so, time to rethink this relationship

location, location, location.
I could roll my windows down, leave my alarm off, set my wallet with $2k in it on the front drivers seat pad, and pop the trunk just for showoff value then leave in the bimmer and come back 2 days later and the only difference in the situation is it will be 2 days later. you guy's need to move....lol.

No need for a new GF. Good women are hard to find. She just happened to be bragging about my new Lexus with her big mouth and some people overheard. They weren't her friends.
I guess the best option would be max insurance, at least if it did get stolen I would get book!
