Nice choice in rims. Alstads are very rare. Good thing your in Florida I got Type 1's also
Have you tried different tires? I also run Nitto 555's, I'm guessing your running 40's. The nitto's dont do these rims justice. Before I used Potenza Re730's, which made these rims look much better. But I'm broke now so I just slapped on some 555's

That is amazing the amount of work you are putting in the SC now. Sounds like a lot of the custom work you are having done is going to be pretty popular with other CL members. A couple of questions though. The RAAmat. Are you removing the stock sound deadening material? If so, how much, if any, weight savings is there going to be with the RAAmat over the stock?

Thanks, I love the Altstadts, so much that I chose the name as my user name on CL.
I run the NT 555's because of dollar to value ratio. About the best tire I have been able to find in the lower price range. If anybody knows of a better set, love to hear it.
Vegas: I am debating that right now. I want the car quiet. I have two thoughts, leave the stock SP materials and add the RAAMat, or remove it and put extra RAAMat. No decision yet. I also have to discuss with the RAAMat dealer. That person is a pro- should have excellent suggestions...
I am not doing the RAAmat because of weight savings as much as for sound proofing. I want my stereo upgrade to sound as excellent as possible- will be greatly improved sound with the RAAMat vs no RAAMat. I still want my car to resemble luxury, even though a lot of my mods ar performance based. Plus, with the Supercharger, custom headers and new exhaust(Borla), I don't want that extra sound leaking into the cabin except when my windows are down. I should not gain much db in sound though, I will weld in extra glass paks if necessary to keep the sound close to stock. My babe will pretty much be a sleeper. Think about it, a Cobra or Bimmer or a WRX, or even worse, a Dodge Neon SRT4 pulls up next to my car- notices the new wheels, mild body kit/ground affects, car is lowered a little bit, paint is nice and shiny, sounds stock. He thinks hmmmm... "All show, no go. Heavy car. Looks fast, but isn't. EASY PICKINS!!!" Then I show him that all he can do is focus on my taillights!!! It will be sweet!!
Just want to have a little fun, ya know!!
