I had a few questions I own a 93 Lexus sc400 and I'm having trouble with shes been really good to me but I ran into a issue where the car doesn't want to stay on and for some reason the lights stay on even after I take the key out and open the driver door

 

You're going to need to post more info about how the car starts, runs, etc and if there are any codes or a check engine light so that we have something to go on to help you diagnose your problem.

As for the lights, that's a strange one... Someone else is going to have to chime in on that because to me it sounds like someone bypassed something they shouldn't have to get them to work. Typically as soon as you pull they key out they lights will turn off automatically.

 

Well it turned off on me while I was driving down the highway luckily I was going slow cause of traffic as I was going I could feel something was off and it suddenly turned off I quickly stop parked it and turned it on again but it stayed on for like 5 to 8 minutes then did the same as I drove it like that the car sharted jerking and struggling to stay on

 

you might have gotten some bad gas, or your fuel pump is going out, listen for it to turn on and humm when you turn the cars ignition on but dont start it then u can start.

Could be a bad ecu id take the cover off and inspect it at least.

 

got it to start it was the TPS but I still got the issue with the lights staying on and when I tried turning the car off it wouldnt turn off after about 5 or 8 seconds
