Default 17 year anniversary on Club Lexus

I’ve owned a LOT of SC’s but my first one has been around for over 17 years. It’s Genesis so it’s been my keepsake. For my 17 year anniversary I’m showing the Lexus that started it all.

1992 SC4 with a bazillion subtle mods you can pick out all around it.

One of the things you can’t pick out from the pics is the triple metallic black I had it painted when I put the 97 kit on. I had the emblems smoked in matte black onyx so they stood out in a different contrast.

Absolutely love the pearl in the black. I'd love to repaint my car one day.

Nice work, and thanks for continuing to contribute here. These cars really are special and its cool to see this forum remain active.

LOVE the paint. I plan to repaint my car once i have the money and i want to do a metallic white similar to the golden pearl but with less gold and more flake. Was always curious how much a paintjob like that would cost. Would you mind sharing how much it cost you to get yours done?

That was ‘05. Even if i remembered it’s been long enough for the value of currency to change and need a chart. Lol

The part that wasn’t damaged in “the incident” where a tornado blew a shed into it 2 weeks after it was painted has stuck well and looks as good as my wax can make it. No peeling or flaking so they did a good job.

I didn’t realize you still had the car. I remember seeing your car back when I first joined Club Lexus and I loved the way it looked.

The color was great in the sunlight It almost looked brown where the light peaked because of the metallic reflecting in the black paint.
