Default Which wheels?

I have some 20s I picked up and they look decent and will need new tires. I also want to get them color changed if I keep them.

Some Supra TT wheels came up today with new tires for 1000. Which do you think I should go with. I’m usually a fan of factory wheels Because they are strong. The 20s will fit more flush with the body but I’m sure they will ride rougher. I’m in to the the 20s already $300. If I powder coat them and buy tires I’m probably at well over 1000. Which wheels would you pick. Both should clear the ls400 brakes when I put them on.

I'd go with the 20s. I don't really care for the Supra wheels, I looked at a car earlier today with them and if I'd bought the car I was going to immediately sell them for more money to work on the car.

I think you should go with your gut on this one.

Polished/chrome Supra TT wheels look really nice on an SC. Those 20 inch wheels look pretty good too! I would go with the 20 inch wheels.

I think my gut is telling me to keep the 20s. Once I get them a color I like more and have the car lowered, I think it will look good.

I was thinking a polished type of silver. What color do you guys think would look good

I'm not a fan of anything bigger than 18s on a SC.

I was never keen on Supra TT wheels until getting a set (with winter tires) that was in need of a re-paint. They had been painted black, with the lips left as bare aluminum. After freshening them up, I liked them enough to make them my summer wheels. They look somewhat cheap in chrome with the bubble center caps, but they can take on a pretty sporty appearance with a color change.

I think the winter tires are still on in that pic. They're now running 245s up front and 275s in back.

Brushed silver with polished lips would look good. Gunmetal woukd look a bit sportier.

Gunmetal or black with polished lips would be nice. If you wanted to black out the lights too the black centers would tie everything together.

I prefer the Supra wheels to the 20's. They are probably lighter and (as you stated) will ride better. I had them for years on my SC400 and liked the look.
