My first Mod....
Woo-hoo i finally received my 97+ tailights today. Had to replace my condensed tailight. I have to say, the tailights make the car look so much newer (2 years newer to be exact). For those who are still wondering, the 97 tails are a direct bolt on to the 95-96. Even the tailight harness will snap right in. For ease of installation, I drilled out 2 of the inner mounting holes on the rear of the trunk. I opened it up towards the inside about 1/6" of an inch. This is probably not necessary, you could probably wrestle them in there, but I didnt want to waste my time trying to fight my tailights. Here's a bad before pic of the car with the stock tailights...

Im selling my 1995-96 tails.. there's a post somewhere in the marketplace with details about that. Unfortunately, the battery on digi-cam died on me so I wont be able to post any pix of the new tails on the car until tommorrow. Its getting late anyways....
Here's a pic fresh out of the box. The cool thing is they came with the tailight harnesses....

I am not 100% sure... i know for sure that the tailight out indicator lamp is on now. I plan on just removing the bulb when i replace the bulbs on my gauge cluster. If you do a search for *tailights* there should be a thread describing what you need to do to make it work.

95'-96' taillights do work on Pre 95 cars.
I have swapped my old taillights with a set of 96' ones and they bolted right on. No modification was required whatsoever.
However, you will get a yellow warning light in your dash and have a slightly higher blinking turn signals.
