every time i consider selling my sc... i always think... what will be my next car.... and can't think of having another car that will completely replace my SC to my heart's content.... they have been comming down in price dramatically... even the later years... i'm sure you can find one if you start to look for one.... good luck....

you're not ranting.... we all understand...

thanks guys for understanding....

i currently have 4 cars

but i miss the lex the most...

if i get another one it will be def a sc400

however i really cant decide between sc/ls

but what i miss is the 275 rear tires on my lex..hehe..

i have one of the fattest set ups on my mini, and its got 215 anywider and the car rubs..

but i got 3 inch deep dish wheels on my mini on a fwd car

anways..thanks for listening..yeah i bought the car for about 7400, ,sold it for 14500 so i had to let it go..i t would have been foolish not to have sold it

sigh

as good as the LS is, you'd hate not having an SC to bring you back in the seat in a sweeping corner at 90 as you punch it... begging for more traction as you slide around the corner heading for the straitaway as you open it up and it growls at you while your passing 140 MPH.

You want a what?

Hey Ryan, long time no see!

I am quite taken with the SC myself lately, just sell one of your other cars and pick up a 93-94 SC4 (good price range)

Sounds like your Mini is coming along nicely!

I know exactly what you mean about getting another car VSsc400. Almost any other car would simply be a disappointment.

I was thinking the other day; there are only a handful of 10 year old cars (mine's a 93) that can have high miles with NO rattles and feel so solid while delivering maximum luxury, good resalve value, and unsurpassed reliability. And only one that offers a V8.

The only other car I would trade up to from the Soarer is probably a GS300 (that's all that's available here in Australia... no GS430 ), but if given the chance, I want to keep the Soarer as a weekend car A 5spd and big single turbo conversion sounds tempting.

Mmm... 5spd... uchhh.... \Homer.

Dgot that right

All of you guys are in unison in suggestions. Ryan, you are welcome anytime man. One day, pick up another SC. Whether it be a 300/400 or 430, I think you will realize that you really never left...you were testing yourself. I contemplated selling my SC for a boosted Z32. Then reality set in. WHOLE different class. If and when I do get the Z32 TT, it will be a third car.....joy toy. The Lexus is in a class by itself, and I enjoy that. I also motoring along, roof open, windows down, music off.....ust thr purr of the engine, and occassional roar of the dual exhaust singing its 1UZFE praises as I pass a vehicle and bouncing off the triple digit area. Music to the ears my friend.

Welcome, and please come again. You body and soul will thank you.

I know what you mean ryan. I gave up my SC about 3 months ago. Needed a bit over 1k in repairs all at once right when i was getting ready to move for college, talk about bad timing. So i actually sold her to my dad. Keeps the SC in the family but i still really miss that car. Big difference between that and the CRX i have now

I remember you Ryan.

I actually called your residence to ask about your white SC3 a couple of months ago but I was told that the car had been sold. Bummer!

Just a side note, is there anyway that you could please help me buy a yellowish Cal Decal that goes on the exterior of the car? I am not looking for one of those transparent stick ons that you paste from the inside of the car. I am looking for the durable one that you can stick on the outside window. I am willing to Pay Pal you the money for your efforts.

Thanks.

Jon
