ARe the 92-94 and 95=96 Front grilles pretty much the same?
Hey guys..I need a question answered ASAP
This is an old question but need confirmation because I'm getting my a grill installed on my car
Are the 95 grills essentially the same as the 92-93? The only difference that I can see is that there is a black rubber bumper guard on the earlier models and there isn't one on the 95s.
Both grills seem to have the wedge turn signal/foglight, and in between is a long horizontal area and the horizontal bar in the middle.
can someone confirm or correct this?
Thanks.

yes Vegas is correct...however all of the lights and electrical items are the same...only the horizontal bar is different on the 95+ the grills are black...and pre 95 they match the color of the car.

So....
Technically if I ordered a grill that was set to fit on a 95 grill...it SHOULD fit on the 92-93 gril right?
Since the only diff is the horizontal bar's paint?
Thanks.

It might work, but I don't think anyone's even thought of trying it though. My question is why not just buy a '95 bumper? I bought one used for $100 with grille insert and the option of keeping the foglights as well.

well..
My 93 grill has been rewired so the turn signal lights are now coming on as foglights ALA the 95s.
The grill would need to be painted and that would also cost extra.
If I were to replace the grill...I'd get the 98s..
