So I've been in the SC world for the last decade or so and I have yet to see other car in Classic Green Pearl with black interior. Does anyone have one of these or did i stumble on a needle in a haystack?

 

It could've been custom ordered. My friend has a 97 5speed and it's tan, but I remember seeing someone post they have a green 97 5speed as well but theirs was 2 tone. That would definitely be a custom order car

 

Did you check the VIN# on the Lexus Driver's website to see if this was factory? It could have been an interior swap. 97 had a two-tone interior as well that's rare.

 

This is how it came from the factory. The previous owner took such good care of it that i don't think the car has actually seen rain since 1998. He worked for Toyota Canada Corporate and had some connections so that may explain the puzzling colour combo.. I think 1997 was the last year they sold the sc400/300 in Canada as well so its even more uncommon here. I've reached out to Lexus Canada for some info on the car but they were not too helpful. All i know is that i've not seen another classic green pearl car with black leather.
