Is it "hard" or alot of work to paint a CF piece such as a trunk or hood ??

Just wondering if CF is any diff then a stock hood / trunk as far as painting would be involved...

I got the hood fellas and it is NIIIIIIIIIICE!!!

I still have some errands to run so I'll post pictures as soon as I get home. The stock hood weighs in at about 60 lbs. The CF hood weighs about 20-25.

Pictures soon to follow...

They've done something similar to that for 3 Supras that they're going to bring to SEMA this year. One in black carbon, one in yellow, and another in a light green color. Looks very sweet.

Heh, those kits for the supras are the ab-flug knock-offs. There's a post over on supraforums about them. That hood looks sweet ACleanSC4. The gap between the front bumper and the hood looks a little bigger than stock though. Maybe that's just me. Can you adjust that at all? Looks really good though

There is definately fittment issues on the hood and trunk, but these weren't made at the factory and there aren't many choices so i say it looks good.

Yeah, I wasn't knocking it, I think it looks pretty good too, just stating something I noticed I do like it though

It is adjustable if I loosen up the screws on the mounting points and slide it forward. I didn't mess with it yet, it wasn't bad enough for me to notice it. But since you mention it, I'll try to mess with it tomorrow. It might also look bigger because I don't have the rubber piece that's suppose to go in that gap. Once I put on the body kit, I lost that rubber liner thing.

Looks nice, though it resembles fish scales.

How come the hood doesn't have those two pins on the corners?

Also, is the insulation material below the hood? Because if it isn't, wouldn't the hood get so hot that a painted hood would discolor?
