hey everyone - what up? i'm about to go through a change in cars, right now i have a sc400 '95, and by next summer i'm hoping to have a new/newer car. I'm trying to decide between a mid-90's NSX or a 99-00 SC400. does anyone have any suggestions? also, after xmas or so - once i find my next car - if anyone is interested in a '95 sc400 platinum, it'll be up for sale... although it'd be hard to part with that car... but i want to hopefully sell it to someone i know, preferably around here in atl, so i can know and rest assured it's in good hands
thanks
~kris.

NSX looks more exotic, ho magnet, handles like a champ, and is fun as hell to drive! However, you'll probably need a second commuter/beater car if you drive this thing. The SC400 is a more practical daily-driver/cruiser/luxo car. It all depends on what you want...

Cant compare an 80 thousand dollar car to a 40 thousand dollar car.

haha, i have a major flaw - i don't drive stick (yet) - and after going to D&B wednesday and the ferrari challenge - i don't think anyone is going to want to see me do so... hehe, just ask skulinex. .
so, if it's going to be a NSX, it's going to be automatic
most likely (yah, totally a waste eh?), until i have time after i graduate next year to seriously learn to do so, and then learn how to drive a motorcycle
hehehe.
as for coolstar: hey me too - forsyth/fulton, sort of! cool - i'll definitely keep you posted on that, because first i need to find a car before i sell, and i'm aiming for selling next year - it's got 85k-ish miles on it as of now, never wrecked and totally clean, but selling bone stock and not quite sure of the price. hey come to the CL/SELOC meets! ~kris

funny thing, i JUST got back from D&B and the ferrari challenge. i used the paddle stick today but when i used the shifter before, i dont think the clutch did anything. it shifted just the same w/ or w/out using the clutch in the game. i mean, its not like u r gonna wear it out or anything in the game ![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
when it comes to the nsx, the only worth getting is the '97 and above so that u get the 290hp version and the 6spd.
If you get the auto. then
just learn how to drive stick. its not that difficult ... u'll regret driving an automatic nsx for the rest of your life
if i buy it, i'd probably still keep my SC for a daily driver

hey there
i have been looking to get an nsx for a while..they are fabulous cars..and were my dreams in high school..
i disagree with legend that "the only worth getting is 97+ " because you can get an older one and comptech supercharge it
its like saying the only sc worth getting is 97+
i am looking to get the nsx around march/april of next year..after hte ls430
but i only want spa yellow..and thus i will have to get the 97+ nsx's...which is ok with me![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
good luck
nsx all the way man

ryan, i'm in the same boat. sooner or later, i'll be getting that spa targa yellow nsx '97+
if u r talking about after-market parts... supercharger or wateva, u can talk about anything, i mean, u can buy an automatic nsx and convert it to stick later if u want. u can buy a '92 and drop a newer engine into it, or switch out the leather seats, or add a nav and audio system. in that case, does it matter what year the nsx is?
same thing w/ the sc. for me, i only looked at '97 and above, and only the 5spd, so it was a rare as hell find. but i could've bought a '92, and do the '97 conversion , or drop a newer GTE engine or wateva. its all relative speaking.

ya know, if i had more $ than i know what to do w/ , i'd buy the ferrari. however, if $ was a problem, i'd actually pick the nsx for the most part simply because i can drive it everyday and it'd feel normal to me.
those ferrari's are at best once a week treat... i just hate to see cars in the shop or have one in my garage that's impractical to drive... wateva the case, completely diff animals... after playing the 355 ferrari challenge today, i drove home in my SC alot faster too =)
