OBD1 to OBD2 converter

Hello, has anyone used this adaptor to read the codes with OBD2 code reader?

This adapter only works with OBD2 scanners that have Toyota OBD1 preprogrammed into them.
If you connect this to a normal OBD2 reader it won't connect
