Loose Sun Visor Fix?
So on my new-to-me SC400, I noticed the driver's side (left) sun visor is a bit droopy. I don't really use it much, as it gets in the way of me driving. The passenger side is fine. I searched and found an old thread on this in the RX300 forum. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...sun-visor.html
Has anyone encountered this and solved it? I could go the route of a magnet, but was wondering if there were other DIY solutions.
Here's a video of the visor:

My visor does this as well but only slightly less than yours. Probably because I haven't used mine since I got my car.
I've been considering using velcro for a couple years now, but after you found that old RX thread I think the magnets idea is brilliant.
The sagging visor problem is a common problem with all Toyotas. It's a flaw in how they're made. The spring isn't strong enough to support the weight of the visors. It's so common that there's been recalls BUT you only get 1 free replacement; any others you have to pay for yourself. It's one of the reasons there are no more driver side visors for our cars anymore

Okay, well, I went the magnet route. I used Gorilla Glue to first put one magnet on the visor:
I then glued the second to the headliner and braced the two with a spare wrapping paper tube:
I now have two magnets. It is "better" now. The fabric in the visor is a bit loose, so there's still some sagging but not as much.
