Default 1998 Lexus SC400 engine bay bolt sizes

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if there is information somewhere that has the exact count and sizes of all the bolts and nuts in the engine bay that are easily accessible and replaceable. I've seen the Dress Up Bolts kit for the car which has replacements for most bolts, washers and nuts that are easily visible in the engine bay but it's about $270 which seems like way too much and not a fan of them being hex key style. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just hoping to get all of the sizes and such so I can buy regular replacement hardware since some stuff under my hood is mismatched, missing, or crusty and old looking.

Here are the kits I mentioned previously:

For this I highly recommend going to the Partsouq site and loading up the Lexus > SC300/400 > model trim type, model year range and sales market (i.e. USA).

There you will have to do some creative digging through subsections where things aren't always where you imagine they *should* be however you will find a complete and fully detailed set of exploded parts diagrams for your series, model and trim type of SC300 or SC400. You will be able to look up part numbers for anything that Lexus ever sold in their parts catalogs for these cars. Same exact diagrams that the Toyota/Lexus dealer parts departments have available to them.

For factory electrical connectors and terminal repair wires for connectors that requires a separate PDF file TSRM for the lookup of that information... but that is the only exception in that isn't in the exploded parts diagrams for SC's.

I don't buy parts from Partsouq but I do use them to copy down all manner of ten-digit part numbers to then buy as needed from dealers (in this format: 12345-12345).

Therein you will be able to find every single bolt and nut part number you want for these cars. Factory parts so not "dress up" aftermarket bolts and nuts.
