Chris, 245-40-18 is no problem to fit at all, I have that size up front in an Advan AVS on a 9" wheel and there is no contact. Going to try 255-40's next. Nick, +35?? Wow bro, that's a massive difference from stock offset, 15mm per side equals a 30mm change in track width, that's way too much IMO, it will definitely impact the way the car behaves, as well as creating rubbing issues for you, which you found out the hard way. That's got to be real close to the wheel arch, probably looks nice though. Why go with such a far-out offset? What brand of wheels are these?

Nick, after i've asked three times and others asked too, WHAT BRAND ARE THEY? Unless they're knockoffs (Nakayama, Tenzo, Motegi, ADR, etc), why would you not want to tell us? Either way they look nice, Bronze is bueno.

LOL, I don't consider ADR rims "knock-offs" ... I consider them good, cheap rims. My last set of rims were ADR rims also. I wanted the pictures to speak for themselves ...

Regardless, as for the Proxes, I was also running Proxes on my last set of rims, they are my fav. tire ever ... the break-in period sucks, but after that, they are really great tires. Break-in on these was pretty surprising, I thought the 275s would hook right out of the box, but I was surprised in my first mile of driving during a second gear pull, I was broad-side facing the sidewalk before I knew what hit me ... They are doing MUCH better now tho with about 45 miles on them.

I wish the bronze would show up in the pics
BTW, I also do not consider Tenzo to be knock-offs I guess it depends on which ones you get ... if you get a set that looks exactly like a Racing Hart C5 or something, then maybe, but if you get a style of their own ... I dunno ...

Thanks for the comments
