Ok i was tired of my gold emblems on my black car. So after waxing my car yesterday i decided to pull them off. I went and got some automotive black spraypaint, clear coat, and emblem glue at orileys.

I did 2 layers of black, and 2 layers of clear coat and let them bake under a heat lamp for awhile. Here are the results.

if you do them silver or chrome, it'd match with the window trimmings

nope i havent been anywhere this morning. and you would know if you saw me because im running rich and blow lots of black smoke in the shifts Going to the dyno tomorrow with my frontmount! I'm in Richardson. That SC looked like yours (was black) as it had the blacked out emblems (on the back is what I could see). Maybe you've started a trend here?

i remember 5 months ago, where i was telling some people to put black emblems on their car. but 3 people bash me, on how good gold looks
your car looks way better now..
although i rather have black/chrome emblems..

no one started a trend..
Toyota/Lexus has black/chrome emblems on many of their cars.. mostly the L-Tunned equipped cars..

who likes gold anyways? thats so 1990

i've always wondered what that would look like, but now that i've seen it i have mixed feelings. i think i'd almost rather debadge than go for a blending in sort of look...
