I believe there's only one shade of steering wheel in tan. However, I've noticed there's different shades of the actual airbag. I noticed this with black as well. When I purchased TechSC400's airbag, I had to actually bring the wheel to compare shades. I did this with my black steering wheel too...

maybe it's faded, i don't know. But ours matches PERFECTLY.

Looks great ! What's the story on the Mode and Reset buttons? What are they for? and do they work? I've wanted to do the radio control in the wheel trick, but haven't found a good solution. I was interested in your black wheel, but I'm worried about finding the right airbag.

Those two "Mode" & "Reset" buttons are for the trip computer or for the Radio on ES model.
I unplug it from inside, so they are not used.

I was thinking the same thing like you. I tried to connect four electrical wires to those two switches to hook them up to either readio switch or iPod control, (It will be so great). The problem is that there is no gap or some space to guide the wire from steering wheel through steering wheel column to under the instrument panel. You will understand if you take your wheel out.

There are only female plug and round yellow plastic cover that can rotate right after the steering wheel. There is no gap or space to put wires through.

If someone has an idea, let us know.
