i read a thread on here about 1 of the members going all red on his red car. he posted pics, i wish i knew were to find it so i could hook up the link for you guys, but if you would like, yall can search it. that way you guys can get a visual! if i recall correctly, he didnt really like it to much...
yup... looks good the way it is right now... lol!! IMO, you wouldnt want to over do the black!

Having smoked my tails and my high beam lenses, I strongly recommend using Krylon Triple Thick Ultra Clear Glaze. The stuff will look just as glossy as the paint on the car, and it is so thick that it almost feels like plastic. The durability, from what I have seen, is incredible. With a coat of wax, the tails are almost difficult to look at they are so glossy.
I used the VHT Nite Shades paint which comes out totally flat without sheen. But, once the clear gets a full wet coat on the lens, the smoke job looks professionally done almost immediately.

Great thread! Black with half black on top looks best imo.
Where can you find the 92 tail lens that is clear or white on the top and red on the bottom? I saw a jdm pic once and never could find it again. It was on a white car as my car is DPW. I was debating to do a black top half, it looks good on a black car but it may not go with my white car. I am not sure I like the redout either.
So my options are:
1. White top and red bottom 92's
2. 95' set with clear on bottom and red on top.
3. Or get a stock set of 00' tails.
What do ya think?
