Man they look excellent. So the little bottle is the last item you used to make them shine like that? I am looking into buying another set of lights so I can work on them...my lights are trashed and do not like the ebay ones.

Just for clarity why are you spreaying the UV clear when it is complete? Is this to prolong the life/

Thanks bro. Yep, that little bottle is a plastic polymer, fills the super fine scratches made by wetsanding and seals the lense, even if it has spider cracks. Only downside is they give the lense a very slight yellow hue, but in direct sunlight its not noticable.

The clear is for prolonging life, but also to give a smoother finish/chip resistance/and "deep" shine. I will be wetsanding the polymer with P1000, and then applying the clear.

Ok guys, had an accident doing final prep on lenses....got a little to close with the heat gun and bubbled the plastic

SOOOOO much time and work lost........

Looks like i will be taking apart my ebay headlights and taking their lense, so imma have some self made.. "supermade" headlights. I guess its not that bad, i would have rathered having the fluting. oh well, lesson learned I guess this means im keeping the ebay high beams too, to match.

But that does mean i can use the OEM high beam projectors in my fogs, with HID's

Annndddd finally, my 2cents on something, i went to lowes and picked up this:

Headlights not being sealed AROUND the housing properly, for me, is the number one reason why moisture gets into the headlight. Of course the headlight has to breath, and it really doesnt do you too good to have a perfectly sealed lense if the water can get past the housing to the vent tubes on the back.

This will make sure the seal is perfect.

still sad about the lenses though.

Sorry to hear about your mishap.

Do you mean your OEM "low beam" projectors? If so, I wouldn't recommend it. How about some IS300 fogs? They are much smaller so it's easier to install.

Thanks man, fighting off the depression....

Nope i will be keeping the ebay high beams on the car to match the OEM lows with ebay lense, because the high beams appear to have smaller projector tubes, i will use them to do a retro into the turn lamps "fogs".

EDIT: ok so the OEM highs arent tubed, but i will be using the rear of the housing to allow the fogs to hold a 900* series bulb
