Vertex Soarer: In the making
This isn't exactly on-topic, but it's related. I thought some of you might be interested in seeing this. I used to be into making model cars, but I just have no time to do it anymore, but once in a while, I check out what other people have done and I came across this.

PS. what type of material do you use to create body kits and extensions from the body?

just to make things clear, i made the gold sc to look like mine. the red vertex soarer is being made by someone else. i found it in one of the model forums online.
but as far as materials to make body kits, people usually use styrene sheets and putty. i started a widebody supra project over a year ago, and i haven't touched it in about half a year...wish i had time to finish it.

the model kit comes with everything you need to build a complete soarer. but this particular kit has no engine detail. i think this builder is doing a transplant from a supra model for the engine detail though. he cut the hood out already, and is scratch building whatever else is needed.
