Default S&W roll cage

Im pretty sure Chris is running one, anybody else out there? And for those who are, what is your opinion on the quality and the fitment. Looking into a chromoly 10pt. The price is almost too good to pass up. http://www.swracecars.com/shopping/s...asp?Search=Yes LMK thanks -Brett

i had one installed in my old mustang...fit was excellent and quailty was great.
i learned the hard way and painted the cage after i installed it. i would recommend getting it powdercoated before install then painting over the welds.

Expect to pay a lot for install... you might want to price that out beforehand.

And with a prebuilt kit like this, I would definitely want to see installed pics - as fitment is often not the greatest as a good custom cage can be.

I Have the S&W cage. It's been sitting in my garage for the past year and I can tell you this much...It's going to take some effort to install it. When I went in and test fit it, I had to cut 2 inches off the main hoop, just for it to stand up straight, and you have to guess where the other bars go since no instructions were given. It is a good price though. I bought mine for 180 shipped with some special.

Hey Brett,
You're correct, I am running their chromoly cage. We had to do some customization on the rear bars and had to cut some of the metal enclosure where your feet go to fit the main loop and kicker bars. Outside of that it fit great!
My only real issue is the main loop could be a tad further back, but if you have benders you may want to try and angle them back a hair.

Oh yeah, there will be some considerable pounding of the floor to get a nice flat suitable surface to weld the plates to.

Why do you need rear speakers the exhaust note is my music LOL jk. Actually, I just added a 10" sub to the back to add some sound, I don't have rear speakers.

Here are some other pics

My setup is the 8pt (6pt with the 2 kicker bars)
