Default A couple of new how-to's from Raine =)

I posted two new write-ups, but it's in the Audio/Video section of the forum. However they are SC300/SC400 specific, so I don't know if I should have posted them here instead.

1. HOW-TO: SC300/SC400 Install Aftermarket Head Unit, OEM Speakers and Sub Working!
Finally, the one-stop thread on how to wire an aftermarket head unit into your SC300/SC400, without having to install extra amps or speakers, etc. I have all 7 OEM speakers working - including the subwoofer - so if you're planning on installing a new head unit, this is for you.

2. HOW TO: SC300/SC400 Double-DIN Stereo Install + Metra Mod for Double-DIN Head Units
The very popular Metra double-DIN kit has a flaw - but after some small modifications, can be as solid as OEM. This shows how to combine the Metra installation kit with your factory radio brackets, including step-by-step on getting the radio out of the dash.

Again, I posted these late last night, and when I woke up today I thought that maybe I should have posted them in the SC300/SC400 section instead. (If I had mod powers I would just move the threads over).

I know you kind of addressed this in your post, but just to clarify. . . Will this work for the other head unit (not the Nakamiche) to your knowledge? The one that has "CMP" on the "CD" button? The brand escapes my mind at the moment, but I know its not the Pioneer?

I can't be sure, as I only wrote up what I was working with... are the plugs in the back similar to my Pioneer? (not necessarily the location of the plug, but the harnesses)?

Good stuff.. I love people who do write ups. It's one thing to do it, and then another to show others how to do it.

With all the frustration and the off/on/off info on other threads, I thought it would be nice to clear things up and save people time
