Thumbs up Picked up another SC...for the wife!!! this time its a '97

while my '92 SC is down at the moment getting a head gasket replaced and some more restoration, i went ahead and picked up another SC ('97) for the wifey!

She's been wanting one ever since i got mine two years ago, so i had to cop one for her, but i wanted a later year SC in better shape than mine was and it had to be OBD2. The interior is in awesome shape and has damn-near every option available to the SC's in 97, not to mention the previous owner did a black/tan combo already which came out super nice. Even though this bayatch has over 200k on the clock, she still runs "smooth as butta". I just changed the rotor, cap, wires and spark plugs yesterday and now she runs even smoother. I'm glad the wifey finally got an SC...now she's already plotting her own mods, and plans to attend future meets.

anyway, here's two quick cellphone pics i snapped of it when we picked it up..

chrome oem 16" wheels will be in the for sale section very shortly..

That's clean! You're lucky to have a wife that likes SC's.

no cracks on any of the AC vents. dash is flawless. needles on the gauge cluster as well as the radio are all bright as hell, and the CD changer in the trunk works too, lol. i was surprised.

she likes the imitation wood accents, so, they're gonna stay. lol

i'm probably gonna just complete it and do an all black interior conversion...black rear seats, black carpet, black armrest, etc.

i noticed the automatic tilting steering column works sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't.

some times it moves real slowly...then just dies lol. i'm guessing that's the motor going bad?

Girlfriends definitely count. Most girls I've met don't care about cars, especially their own. I guess that's why they always drive beat up Honda's, Camry's, and V6 Mustangs...

That's an interesting interior. I thought the factory two-tone had tan seats and carpet?
