Default 20" wheels on 97+

I'm kinda thinking that 18s might look too small on my SC. And a lot of the wheels I like don't come in a 19, they are either 18s or 20s. Ive been starting to think about 20s. I have seen some SCs on here that pull off 20s nice with a kit. But do you think 20s look too big with just the factory kit? It would be 20x9 and 20x11

I think you can pull it off on a 97 if the car is lowered. I saw a 97 SC on 20"s driving around by my school and it looked awesome.

Do you have any pictures of the wheels?

18s do look small on a SC. 20s look real good on the big body SC. Its almost like it should be a standard in my honest opinion.

sounds like you're talking about the xxr 526's. in that case, you're going to have to pull your fenders a good bit to fit them, not just a roll, an actual pull, since the 20x11 only comes in a +15 offset

for sure gonna need some fender modifications. My 18 rfp1's are +12 and i have trouble. I can imagine +15 and 20 inch wheels. Gonna look great when its ready

I'd pass on 20s with the stock kit. 18s would look far better imo. If you plan on getting a kit at some point though, you can probably pull off 20s.

20s would look a lil on the big side on a stock body sc, it can be pulled off depending on the rim. but imo i would say ud need to put a kit on it also

I don't really plan on getting an aftermarket kit. Just a front lip in the future..

This has been covered many times before with pics!

My personal opinion would be:
20" w/kit
19" 97+
18" stock

I had 20's on my 97 just to see how it looked. They didn't look bad, but they were a little big for that car.

Scott has 20's with a Kit. His car looks great.

As long as you are lowered with at least 97+ kit it will look great.

20's are definitely too big. 19 is the biggest id go for a stock body 97+ an thas too big for my taste. 18s look perfect especially with a nice profiled tire. I personally put OEM 17's to not lose ride quality

for 97+ stock body 19s or 20s are perfect. I'm running 20s stock body it looked pretty good, now I'm dropped on 20s and I think its Perfect

-The first pic is stock everything with just 20's
-The second pic is with a drop, sorry I don't have a full pic, its still winter up here and was just a test fit..
