Default My SC400 stereo build

Had the car about 2 years and have been itching to do a system but also wanted to leave the interior stock. I've been saving for a while and doing research on what components I wanted. Here's the end result.

-Pioneer Avic-Z130BT head unit. Built in Bluetooth & HD Radio & added an XM radio tuner
-Focal 165 A1 6.5" component speakers up front
-Focal 165 CA1 6.5" coaxial speakers in the back
-JL Audio XD 400/4 for the mids/highs
-2 JL Audio 10W7AE Subs
-2 JL Audio XD 600/1 Monoblocks
-Stinger Digital Battery Terminals
-Stinger 200amp Battery relay/isolator
-Shuriken Battery in the trunk
-Dynamat Xtreme around the trunk, inside of the tail light housing/rear bumper and on the door panels
-Other various odd/ends

I gave the shop my camera to document the build. On to the pics!

Old boring radio.

12yr old terminals that look like crap. Had to go!

1st Mock up of the amp rack. Ended up sticking out to far and left almost no trunk space.

2nd battery box. They went the extra mile carpeting it and it's not even seen.

Final amp rack setup

They made a 2 piece floor so I could get to the spare/jack if need be.

New terminals with an old battery=fail. I will be replacing it with shortly, possibly with another Shuriken like in the trunk.

I think i'm done modding the car for a while ;D

Sweet audio mod, Hows that bass hitting with the subs sitting like that?

I still haven't really fine tuned my eq settings, the shop just tuned the amps and did a quick custom eq. But out of a max vol of 40 even when you get to about to 5 or 10 you can already feel it in your chest. Hit's pretty hard for 2 10's. Hardly any rattle on the inside (the trunk lid flexes like crazy) and it shakes the hell out of the rear view.

That looks great! That's the cleanest stereo system I've ever seen in a Lexus.

That headunit looks pretty sweet too!
