Default Accident!! Should I let go my love?

It has been over 10 years with my SC....
I spent so much effort and time to take care this one.

So far,
TEIN CS coil over with EDFC,
complete 97 upgrade from 95,
18" TRD rims,
new leather seats upgrade,
3 spoke wooden steering wheel with single stage air bag,
LS 4piston front brake caliper upgrade,
HID Headlights,
HID fog lights,
Ipod aux connection to factory audio,
etc....

and yesterday, I got this, couldn't do anything, but looking at the rear view mirror.... hoping that car behind can stop....

Insurance person told me that it is most likely totaled, but if I have choice,,,,,,
Should I fix it?

What do you guys think?
Just let it go? or try to fix it? some cosmetic damage in front also... (front bumper needs new paint job also)

thats alot to fix but 10 years is a long time to own a car. this is one of those personal choices. if it was my car i would look for a clean sc shell and swap what u have that isnt damaged into it

usually im all for fixing them back up but im sorry man im quite sure your car is tottaled and not worth repairing at this point.

I guess all you can do is hope to get a good price for it and buy another one.

Wow sad to see that happening to someone who owns and loves his SC so much

I have a bit of experience in crashed SC's and I can tell, this can't be repaired to become perfect again sadly... a bit too much gone off that rear end

My car was hit in the front... changed radiator support, both radiators, pulled right side out for about 1-1.5 inch and pulled it down for about the same, and at the end changed both ends of langerons (where metal bumper bolts on)! Now it looks great... but still everytime I see it from underneath it just brings back those bad memories.... But that's just my opinion!

Hope you can let it go and find other perfect body

I say part out and add money to find another SC.. fixing that would definitely be more. It's good to you see you got home safely

Where'd this happen btw?

aw man that sucks, think its time to find another one. the good news(for you not me) is the price of these cars has plummeted in 10 yrs you can get a 97+ for less than you originally paid for that one. good luck with whatever you decide.

+1, that speed limit sign and license plate on the car that hit you both look very foreign.
