Pics of your oil feed/return setup thread!!
as it states i need some ideas people. what do you hold your lines with. which port do you use?? the type of lines etc.
i don't want an engine fire. that would be tramatic then that would cause something like this to happen to me..

I dont have pics, but an ebay single conversion oil line kit works for me. Has everything you need. I didnt want to source the block off plates and oil restrictors, so I went for convenience at a nominal premium.

the feed should be 3 feet for gte since the feed is on the same side as the turbo.
2.5 feet for return , if it's too long you can shorten it to your liking.
The feed and return should have a C shape if you install it properly.3

This is one of my old setup you can see the return
for you feed you run on the opposite side of mine, from the top of the turbo C to the block and you are done.

damn quick sc. i was really wanting a close up of your return flange(on the turbo). to see how close you are to the manifold etc.
so my next question is does the return port have to be facing "down"?? i thought i seen some setups where they were pointed at the side and whatnot??
i mean the feed and return isn't effected by gravity, it's pressure right?? so in theory you should be able to clock it where the return port isn't facing down correct??
like where my return line is i should be able to turn it to point more to the left(away from the manifold). to keep it from the heat source right?? i would just need a l bend hose.

the return is gravity only - no pressure.
that's why it needs to be a consistent "down" angle/bow so the oil doesn't puddle. you should use a 30* fitting at the bottom of the drain and shorten your hose slightly.

as long as you don't run it in between the runner and you use some dei insulator you will be in perfect shape no worries.
replace that return hose with a braider line and reroute the feed line and wrap them both and you are golden.
my feed was around 12:30 or 1oclock and it worked just fine but i wouldn't clock it more than that.

yeah, max, you don't want the oil drain to "pool" because that will create pressure, and even a little bit of pressure in the CHRA can cause the oil to just leak out of the oil seals and smoke in your exhaust. so your oil drain needs to be an easy path down to the pan.
