Rear diffuser ideas
#32
For this project guys, I'm not on it right now, that's into my mind, but for now I don't even have a rear lip yet (have to fab one as the erebuni is unable to obtain!) But I've got at least to make my car roll I'm on the last strech of my 2JZ swap!
But when the lip would be done, that's going to be in project this summer or this winter! It take times to custom things loll!
This one was awesome until I saw the price with the shipping! But that's the size I'm looking for doing the center piece! Nice find through!
I think this was a mkiv supra one? From DoLuck!
Man you car is/was amazing!!? I've heard you've part out that car???
Eau rouge seem to make some really nice pieces for the soarer, either for the rear lower camber arms but damn... ordering from them? I haven't find the way yet!

i like the look of it
if i could have that ^ i would do it..
these are all the ones i found:
22in wide:
23in deep:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-Re...sories&vxp=mtr
63cm = 24.8in wide:
70cm = 27.5in deep:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fibreglass-V...item3a734808d2
95cm = 37.4in wide:
36cm = 14.17in deep:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wide-Univers...item3a74267809
unknown width:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-Ca...sories&vxp=mtr
Edit:
just remeasured the rear.. the 37.4 will fit.. however its the same length as the part inbetween the exhaust holes on the rear bumper. you will lose your ability to use the tow hook as well as have to shave around your exhaust.. sounds like itll be to much work for something so expensive not to fit ideally.. sooo im going to get the 24.8in wide by 27.5in deep diffuser, cut out the bottom a little to set it up in there.
im also contacting the people in the first, smaller size and seeing if they can make one thats wider
28" wide
23" long

It'll look kinda like the teal car posted above but not as big. The picture I posted a few comments back is the style I'm going for. Except it should fit perfectly Between the muffle outlets incase your running dual 3-4" straight pipes.

you should measure the curvature of your rear bumper on the bottom below the license plate, assuming you have a 92-96 style rear and however one measures curvature....,so the diffuser isn't just a straight piece and see if they can do that and have the ducts follow that curve. imo it will look cleaner that way like in the first photoshops.
just food for thought.

In fact for me, I haven't done anything yet!
Problem is, I really love now that I have a 2jz swap in, but last year, broking my 1jz for this one wasn't in my plan at all, so I will do/fit the diffuser during winter!
Lact of money and time issue!
I know the diffuser have to be curved and not the straight "triangle" flat version because of the spare.
Is this what you mean?
I'm very curious to see your work with this one! Post pictures when it will be done please!!

THIS IS SICK.
Like ihiryu said, a diffusers not my cup o' tea, BUT you miiight be able to sell me on one like this...
I wanna know A. can you photoshop this same pic, but a Black SC (so it looks like mine), and B. how much difference does a diffuser really make aerodynamically?
I mean, I don't think our cars are producing vortices or anything, so how much drag does it really eliminate?
If it's a considerable amount, then I could justify installing one.
First though, yeah, can I see a pic?
I'd really like to see what mine would look like, with this on; especially 'cus the rims Im getting are very close to those same ones.
Thanks!
Ps: What rims are those (Size/Brand) ?
