Default Thinking about buying an SC

hey guys, i am thinking about buying an SC. what year(s) is the best for the SC300 and what's the best for the SC400.

if i am not mistaken, i think this car has a 2JZGE engine? i might be wrong on that though.

can you post some pictures of modified SC's with body kits or lip spoilers and say what the kit is called. can you guys also post some pictures of SC's with aftermarket wheels. if i do decide to get an SC, i would most probably get VOLK GTC's but i am also open to other options.

thanks.

do a search

97 was the last year for a 5spd SC300, and the first year of the newer front bumper and tail lights (among other things)

if you buy an auto, the 98s come with 5spd Autos (SC400s and SC300s?) and a much nicer shifter

anyways, welcome to the board, hope you find what you're looking for, what will you do with your 530??

if i wanted to insult you i wouldn't have even replied to your thread even after you had to bump it to get a reply. or i could have just said "do a search newbie, it's already been discussed a million times" or "stick to bimmers" and left it at that.

but i'm above that.

since i knew the link, i actually took the time to hit reply even though i have a slow a$$ 33.6 modem and not even a thank you for my effort to save YOU time. i could have spent the time looking for better threads. now i have to again waste my time to respond.

the site i posted also has info about his home stereo among other things and lex400sc had taken a lot of time and effort to put it together for the benefit of everyone. it also has lots and lots of pics of bodykits(with the names of it) which is what your initial question asked for and answers about engines (another one of you questions).

if you don't want to check out the women gallery, don't click on it. simple as that (it's a free country). but, there is already a quality woman pic on his homesite staring right at you when you first enter it.

and NO, it was not meant to be an insult but YOUR reply is.

Nah, this board is not as rude and immature as the bimmer boards that you are used to.

and no that was not an insult...

... ok, maybe a cheap shot
