Default Post Pics of 97+ on 20s

Hey guys I might get some 20" Vossen CV3 for my SC and I just want to see if anyone has pics of a 97+ with STOCK suspension on 20 inch wheels. I found a good deal on these wheels with new tires so I might bite the bullet and go pick up. (I would rather have 19s). I don't want a donk and I dont want to lower car for now. Would a 2000 black SC300 look stupid on 20s? I feel like the 97+ sit lower to ground as well but I could be totally wrong. Thank you whoever posts pics.

Why is it stupid? Will it really look that bad on 20s?

I've also had my eyes on this set here on craigslist for awhile.. They are 19's. Only concern is I think Ro_jas are really old *** wheels.... Don't want to be running some super outdated setup.

Here is link to the 19" Ro_jas : http://charlotte.craigslist.org/pts/3861691803.html

Here is link to Vossen CV3: http://charlotte.craigslist.org/pts/3851602284.html
I talked guy selling Vossens down to $2100

Also, would either of these setups require me to modify fenders? Lastly how much could I lower car with each setup?

stock or lowered, 20's look stupid on the sc, lest you're going for the donked hood-lovin look.. LOL

18" MAX for proper proportions unless it's a multi-piece wheel that might look smallish in 18".. and yes you will have to modify the fenders AND relocate the wiring harness for anything 19 and up when the car is lowered. Stock height, it will look stupid as well.

I've seen 20"s on an SC before and it didn't look bad with low profile tires it will sit high but it should get rid of most of the fender gap with the stock suspension.

19"s would be your best bet in my opinion. I had 18"s on my SC at stock height and the fender gap up front made it look goofy.

With the Varrstoen es6 do most people run 19x9.5 front and 19x11 in back? Im pretty sure with 11 inch back I would need fender modifications is it weird to run 19x9.5 all around with the es6?

Varrstoens seem to be pretty good for replica wheels. A lot of local guys run them and they seem to be alright. The only thing I personally don't like is how the polished lips/faces have a hazy look to them. It looks like crap in my opinion, but I would still recommend them.

XXR's are a good choice too.

Yes, you will need to roll/shave the rear fenders depending on the offset and tire size of the rear wheels. At stock height you shouldn't have too much trouble if you go with a higher offset like +35 all around.

don't let them sway you man 20's look great on these cars, the Sc is a large car and 20's fit it perfectly.

Check out cars like scotturnot, and many others, some of the best SC's are rolling on dubs.

Scott has a HUGE bodykit on his SC and his car is slammed. He is asking if it will look good on a stock body SC, with the stock height. In which case, most people agree, it will look like sht.
