DIY: Custom Door-Sills
Got some door sills off a 2004 (I think) Lexus GS300 on eBay.
They were a lot shorter than ours, so I simply pulled out the metal trim piece with the logo ('cus that's all I wanted anyway), and cut the OEM door sill, in order to make it fit into place. I started this project yesterday and finished this afternoon. I matched (almost) the color to the tan interior, rather than the OEM black, because I wanted it to appear as though it's an extension of the interior; like it's "inviting you in" essentially. I thought it was more welcoming, and would contrast nicely with the black base. So I bought some Plasti-Dip: Camo online as well. This was the result
