hey i was wondering if anyone could help me.... does anyone have a picture of a sc430 with the new gs wheels the ones with the large 4 spokes?? and your opinions on how that would look?

Here is another look (at the bottom of the thread). I have these on my car. Big improvement to the look of the car from the '06 stock wheels. Looks classier.

Here's a picture of my SC with the GS wheels. Took me a while to get her cleaned up as we can't wash cars at home due to the drought. Had to go to the car wash ! Still managed to use a bucket and my own sponge!

Thanks for the compliment Tommy. I thought about outfitting the SC with a chrome GS set, but thought the chrome would stand out too much with the granite color (chrome would look sweet on black) even though the car has some chrome accents (side view mirrors for instance). It is very hard to buy wheels blindly. Easy to see on another car, but hard to imagine the look on your own. I am still envious of all the guys that modify, especially the wheels. But this primarily my wifes car and she put her foot down. She didn't even want me to do this, until she saw the end result! I am sure some of you know the story well.

Makes me wonder why Lexus even bother to design a new stock wheel for the 06+ SC430, they should have just used the same 5-spoke above as the 06 GS

I would have thought Toyota/Lexus would have jumped all over the opportunity to mass produce this wheel, to if nothing else save some dough. Obviously it has multiple applications and IMO looks so much better than what they decided to mount on any of the SC's. Based on what I am seeing on this forum, the happiest that they have chosen such an unpopular stock tire/wheel package, is the aftermarket folks! By the way, I still like the wheels on the '08 Pebble Beach edition, but couldn't find any for sale (probably too early). Maybe they should have made that the base wheel.
