Default Stoptech Big Brake Kit Installed Wow!!

So I finally got around to installing the brakes last weekend. It was a pretty straight forward easy install for me. I think I spent 4 - 5 hours working on it. The kit is Stoptech 4 piston front and rear with 14 inch 2 piece drilled rotors front and rear the rear has the drum built in for the parking brakes. The kit also has stainless lines. I changed the pads that came with the kit to Axxis Deluxe Plus versus the Axxis Ultimate Ceramics that came with the brakes. The stopping power is very similar but the noise and brake dust is rated much friendlier on the Deluxe. Last thing I added was Motul 600 brake fluid. I have to say it was one of the easiest cars I have ever bled brakes on too. The first impression after I got in to drive the car was how stock it felt. The pedel still had the same feel, and I was worried about having a firm pedal, but the pedal is the same and the effort need to use the brakes is the same as when stock. I can't believe I lived with the terrible stock brakes for so long. The warped rotors and steering wheel and car vibrations and the poor stopping distance are all a thing of the past. I have put about 200 miles on them now and the wheels are still clean!! I love it and the stopping power this car has now is amazing. I hammered on the brakes from 60 and it almost hurts it stops so fast. I just wanted to give my impression slowly I am getting this car setup the way it should be. Now if I could only have a IS-F powertrain I would be completely happy. Here are some new pictures.

Yes!

But be careful with those drivers behind you who can't stop as quickly as you!

The BBK is one of the best performance mods for sure.

I picked them up slightly used they were purchased 09/2007 new and were installed on the car for the 11/2007 Sema Show. They were barely used then the car was put back to stock the brakes were sitting for a while until I bought them. I have had them a few months now but just haven't had a free weekend to install them. But they are on now and they look and perform like new.

Looks sweet! Question, did you have any brake noise before the BBK?

Your car looks classy bro. You did a great job. I am currently in the market for the Stop-Tech BBK myself. I called my local dealer (who happens to be a long time client) and he said MSRP is $5100 but quoted me around $3600 for the complete kit front and rear, calipers, braided lines, noses, pads, etc.

Does this sound pretty accurate? Or should I have him qoute me on Brembo or Rotora? Which BBK is the best value(quality/performance)

Any advice would be appreciated.

I had vibrations with the old brakes and the occasional squeal but that was about it.

I think you got quoted close to cost on that stoptech kit. Most dealers are lucky to make 30% markup on big ticket parts like these. I would say order it the drilled rotors cost a little extra if you go that route. As for the quality you can't go wrong with either company. They both have 4 piston calipers with 2 piece rotors, and come with stainless brake lines. The stoptech use Porsche Turbo calipers then balance the kits to the car by using different piston sizes, they also have developed a stiffening bridge for the top of their calipers. I also like the multiple brake pad options and compounds available for the stoptech's. I spent $80 shipped for 2 extra sets of pads. I don't think they are that cheap for brembo. Let me know what you get.

How do you mean by awkward?

I know with my Rotora 6/4 setup the 6 caliper was almost the same size as the 4. You could only see it with them next to each other , although the 6 was much heavier.
