Default Trailer hitch on an SC430????

Hey everybody, I was just wondering if anyone has ever put a trailer hitch on their SC?? The reason I'm asking is I have a little trailer that I tow behind my bike and it would be a perfect size to haul behind my car for those long trips since the trunk has limited space ( especially with the top down ). Of course I would want a hitch that hides behind the rear bumper cover then just slide in the reciever when you want to tow, take it off when not towing and you would "Never" know it had a hitch hidden away! I have my doubts that there is a manufacturer out there that has made one but hopefull. If not I guess I would just have to fabricate my own. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated!!

Sorry but no I have not put a hitch on mine yet. Had too many other things to worry about lately. What my plan was is to fabricate a hitch under the rear with a hidden receiver so when I take it off you cannot see anything. The only other hitch I've seen on these forums is one that goes behind the licence plate and when not in use the licence plate is mounted on a bracket that fits into the receiver effectively moving the licence plate out a couple of inches which in my opinion looks like crap. ( my 2 cents ). If I ever do get around to building said hitch I will be sure to post pic's on the forum to see what everyone thinks.

Default Trailer hitch

I had Mann's welding in Bellevue Washington make a custom hitch for my SC430, I have tried to copy the pictures here but everything I try fails. He was not cheap ($400) but it looks great and you can't hardly tell it's there when the stinger is out. This is a small tube so it's rated for 2000 lbs which is good for my inflatable dinghy and bike rack. If you want to see the pictures, e-mail me at CAPTIANLADYDAR@MSN.COM. Note the first word in my e-mail address is not captain it is captian.
