You actually have to remove the lower side rear pieces in order for the full rear bumper kit to fit. To access the screws to them, you have to remove the 2 ventilation boxes in the trunk (one on each side) then you have access to the 3 screws for the rear molding.
I just put it on my 92 SC300 and I had to remove them. I know my description sounds kinda fuzzy but I hope you get what I mean.
