160 Amp High output alternator for a SC400
Sup everyone,
I got a used high output alternator that i need to sell. This alternator is 160 amps (Stock is 100)I added two more BX1500D amps so i am upgrading to a stronger alternator. If you are adding a 1400+ watt stereo system, upgrading your alternator is a must! The stock alternator cannot handle anything in that range.
The alternator is still hooked up to my car (1995 SC400) and my mechanic will be replacing the alternator on Monday. I believe this alternator will fit all year SC400's. Please search the forums to make sure. I will have pictures soon after the alternator is pulled from the car.
Asking price= $200 shipped/obo or $180/obo for local pick up in Sacramento, CA.

What size alt are you replacing you 160 with?
I would like to get a High Output Alt for my 91 LS400 and I am having a hard time finding an alt with over 160 amps. How many amps will your new alt have? And how much will it cost you? Will he be able to build an alt for a 91 LS400?
