FS: 1995 SC300 5-speed turbocharged
I guess its finally time. I've got to sell my baby. After a bad breakup with the ex-gf and now sharing an apartment with friends that i really dont want to be sharing with, I have realized I cannot afford my own place and the car at the same time on my small budget.
Car stats are at the bottom. Now for the list of whats wrong with it:
-couple minor dings and scratches you'd expect on a car of this age
-wastegate vents to atmosphere in the engine bay and causes the knock sensor to pull timing (i'm in the process of fixing this)
-intercooler pipes leak and they are small; i wanted to upgrade but never had the time or the money
-stock clutch is slipping bad when the car does run right; i have a very strong clutch awaiting install; its just not done yet
-interior driver-side door handle has broken off, needs replacement, have to open door from outside
-upper part of rear seats could use some restitching
-front exhaust manifold gasket has blown, so there's an exhaust leak at cyl #5; just needs a new gasket and it'll be fine
-stock fuel pressure regulator leaks a bit, i have a replacement aftermarket regulator, just didnt have the right tap to put it on, needs a 1/4" npt tap
its really just a lot of piddly stuff that one person could fix if they had about 2 days to dedicate to the car; the turbo setup is easy to pull off, etc and everything is easy enough to get to... just needs time, and not even very much money at all... gasket would be the most expensive at around $35 direct from the dealer
The car body itself has 146k miles on it. It has held up very well, never been in an accident other than someone backing into the front bumper in a parking lot one time. Paint is in really good shape and really glows at night when its clean. The motor itself, at least the shortblock has an estimated 45k miles on it. I found this out by speaking to the previous owner, they replaced the motor for some reason recommended by lexus dealer at around 100k miles.
Car has BBS 17" RX wheels and Michelin Pilots MXX3 tires. The Escort Passport 8500 radar detector comes with it. The car is obviously as in title a 5-speed manual with greddy shiftknob. The sound system is a stock Nakamichi (which is very impressive to me). A/C, heater, etc all works just fine. CD changer works most of the time, really only sensitive to bumps in the road
I'll get some pics of it up this weekend hopefully.
I'm entertaining offers but I'm wanting to get $13.5k
email me with any offers or questions about the car. I'm very open to whats been done and will tell you everything. Since I dont have any time or money left for this car, I really want it to have a good home with someone that would enjoy it as much as I have.

This sucks, all the vets seem to be leaving. I liked your setup Bean b/c it was original and cheap. I was gonna ask you a bunch of ?'s when I turbo mine one of these years. Now who'll I ask???

Man Bean, tough to hear man. I know stuff's going bad, but I hope you still got some leisure time to stop back and talk with us (and maybe pound some knowledge into noobs who don't know anything about turbos). You're real knowledgable on the topics so free bump to a good member!

thanks for the kind words guys
i'll always be over here... looking at new jobs, and if i get the right one, a GS400 might be in order
TGRich, feel free to ask away man at any time, I'll still be in the turbo arena even with my next car, but it will be much cheaper

I am considering offers on buying the turbokit off the car!
I will sell the electronics, boost controller, gauges, the full turboback (as long as you trade me for a stock catback and y-pipe )
probably the most complete kit you'll ever see... my car will be going back to completely bone stock!!!

Total info on kit:
Current setup
-60-1 turbo, .70 A/R exhaust side, vband, 4" inlet
-running 3" mandrel bend downpipe, vband flange, has a spot for a wideband O2
-log manifold, thick runners, tig welded, and is a bottom mount so the 60-1 can fit without hitting the distributor
-3" pressbent from the downpipe back to the single exit exhaust.. no cat, its slight bends, so its not bad and flows well enough
-Profec B2 boost controller, hardly used, bought new
-SAFC v1 hardly used, bought open box but not used
-Defi 35psi boost gauge; black face and lights up amber, nice gauge
-gauge cup that holds boost gauge to dash
-440cc mk3 injectors (you'll need a resistor box or resistors, i have resistors at the ecu)
-LS400 MAF (to balance out injectors)
-not installed adjustable fuel pressure regulator with no gauge
-not installed 550hp 6-puck (but still slippable) clutch
-various couplings to transition between pipes
-intercooler setup, tho you may not want it, uses small piping and rx-7 intercooler, i'd recommend a front mount
-walbro 255lph (Gs341)
-35mm Tial wastegate with 6psi spring (have an extra 8psi spring too)
-TurboXS type-h bov
every part is in pristine shape and first offer over $3k takes it

guys I really need to sell the car and the kit. I am willing to sell it pretty cheap. Something MAJOR has come up that I cant discuss; and I have GOT to have this money soon.
