Good luck. I tried selling my 5 speed with less miles and more performance mods for a LONG time before I settled for a price less than what you are asking People don't want to spend money these days unless it is for a Supra it seems.

It's not that people are unwilling to spend money it's just some owners are trying to get back to much of the money they spent on mods.

A 7K car with 14K in mods is not a 21K car. If the owner gets back 50cents on the dollor which is pretty fair. Then the 7K car with 14K in mods becomes a 14K car.

I understand the concept, however, to replicate some of the things that we have done would cost WAY more in the long run.

I have $30k in receipts ... no labor included. My car is sold anyway, I was just stating that most people who have that kind of cash seem to end up driving a Supra anyway

I sold mine for $24k when I sold it (over $100k total in it, with over $45k just in parts in it in the form I sold it in without labor). The SC just doesn't carry the book that the Supra does. Good luck with the sale and also with joining the armed forces!

See, this is what confuses me Ethan. Why build up the car spending tons of money in the process only to sell it for a major loss later?......and then turn around and buy another stock SC and plan to build that up in similiar fashion? I'm just curious. Is it love of tuning? I just want my SC to be fast enough and then I'll stop. I already see that spending loads of cash on the car isn't the best decision if you have hopes of recouping those funds later, or even an acceptable fraction of the funds for that matter. If I can get my SC to be half as fast as yours I'll stop and be quite satisfied.
