OK..before all you uptight people who get ur paintes in a bunch tell me to use the search, i already have and nothing useful came up so i was wondering what materials im going to need to do it myself or if someone else has already done it and would like to do mine (id pay u of course) for me. Im also wanting to do an HID retro fit and was considering X5 projectors or m5 projectors.

i got x5/rs6 projectors in my sc300 and they are wonderful. as for what u will need u need, projectors x2 d2s bulbs x2 ballasts x2 a relay, diodes so u dont fry your headlight switch, and some good automotive wire. u'll need the relay diode and wire if u dont get a good aftermarket wiring harness. (some aftermarket harness dont have diodes in them) the process intailed me removing the headlights, "baking" them in the oven @ 200 ish degrees for 5-10 min so the sealant would come apart, then i cut out mounting brackets out of lexan. next i had to take care of wiring then aiming.... now would be a good time to polish the heck out of your headlights. seal everything back up with some good silicone and your set
