FS: Sc400 cluster
I have a beautiful red on red cluster up 4 sale. Cluster has the BMW look with red background and red needles and all needles are flawless. I will need to take some night pics this weekend and attempt to post or email to interested parties.
Note - Reason 4 selling is I have an sc300 and the rpm's run up to 1500 higher than actual. It bothers me so my original sc300 cluster is going back in.
$150 plus shipping or B/O.... Pm me if interested. I am keeping my plastic see thru cover so yours would be installed if purchased. IF i find a spare cover I will ship with cluster

This means the cluster is actually for an Sc400. So this would be perfect for Sc400 owners.
Sc300 owners will still have the tach read differently. I also assume this is an automatic cluster?
PS- check your PM.

Stupid question... Can anyone advise of the best technique for taking digital photos of a lit instrument cluster?? My digital camera's (Canon powershot) flash overpowers the cluster lighting and the red on red does not stand out? Should I take the pic from angles and not straight on? I also thought by taking the pic at night would help.
Advice?

turn off flash...
situate the camera on something stable...
set up the timer on the camera...
aim at the dash w/ the lights on and everything set up...
press the button and walk away...
this will give u a nice blur free night pic showing the lights.
