Hello all,

I have a 1992 5 spd teal (not sure the name of the color) lexus sc300. pretty much stock except has some custom dual dtm exhausts. bought the car to do a 1jz or 2jzgte swap but other things have come up. so i want to sell it or trade for a celica all trac. The driver's seat is worn. windows are tinted. has a split seam on the rear seat (Behind driver). if you have questions let me know. I ll try to answer them (havent had the car for very long. only put maybe 100 miles on it since i bought it (in june).

oops, forgot to make the folder public.....they are now in a folder called sc300

the supra is my daily driver and it's needing a lot more attention now than i thought...so i have to concentrate my efforts

you guys might worry about the mileage, but i know you will be doing a swap with it anyways (that is why i bought it). so hard to come by...especially in california, surprised there isnt more interest

I'm interested in it but am skeptical about getting an sc with this many miles on it.

Is it in good running condition and able to pass smog? Can you provide any more details? I understand you got it with the idea that you were going to do a swap, but are there any engine or tranny issues now? leaks?

Did you perform any maintenace on it? engine/diff/tranny/coolant fluids changed? at 215k, it should've had its timing belt/ water pump changed any ideas on this? anything other parts that's wearing out that I should be aware of?

I'm not interested in swapping the engine, but I do plan on rebuilding the 2jzge around the middle of next year for turbo. We bought a new home but it won't be completed until January so I can't do any major mechanical work until then.

i guess i can only say what has been told to me (since i havent driven the car much). according to the previous owner, the timing belt has been changed twice. clutch needs to be changed soon (so i was told by the previous owner. i can confirm this as the clutch makes some noise when the clutch is slightly depressed. i personally havent performed any maintenance on it. i dont think i have even had to fill up the gas tank more than once since i ve owned the car. the car had a problem with the egr system but that was fixed before i bought it so it should pass smog no problem (he smogged it like two days before i picked it up from him.

if you have any more questions, let me know....i can think of anything wrong with it besides maybe needing a clutch sometime fairly soon (still drives fine though)
