Hey all, I'm putting my 92 SC300 up for sale yet again. I just can't afford the payment and insurance on two vehicles right now. Currently, I still owe about $6400 on the car. I would like to get that, because I really don't want to be paying on a car I no longer own. But, if you can make me a decent offer, I'll take it. Looking to get at least $5500.

Ok, stats on the car:

1992 SC300, 5spd, 148k miles. Body still in very nice condition, as well as the interior. Color is spruce silver, with tan interior. There is normal wear and tear on the leather, but very, very minor. No big rips or blemishes in the leather. Ugliest part is the top of the steering wheel.

Just had a LOT of maint done to the car. New cam and crank seals, front and rear main seals, new distributor, plug wires, plugs, new clutch throwout bearing, rearend housing filled and sealed, new harmonic dampener. Sea-foam engine cleaner was just run through the engine, as well as the throttle body was cleaned, so no more carbon. A/C system just recharged, blows nice and cold now. Have new radiator hoses and t-stat ready to go in, just haven't had time to put them in.
*edit* Coolant system flushed, new hoses and t-stat installed.

Things it needs: New rear tires, and the brake rotors need to be turned. I'm going to try and do this (brake rotors) within the next week, so I'll post here when I've got that done. Also, the driver's side window regulator just went out.

They are bro, I know someone looking to spend $5k on an SC but you're in Florida and they want a Cali car. You just have to be patient, the right buyer will surface. Good luck man

Fyi, when I say I will take no lower than $5000, please, do not waste my time AND your time by making an offer of $3000. You will most likely be completely ignored. Not trying to be an a$$, but I put that "no lower than" in the original post for a reason. I believe this car to be worth every bit and more of what I'm asking. And on that note, TTT

Just wondering if you have any pics that are taken during the daytime.

Also how long ago was most of the maintance done to the car?
Any more details would be helpful!

all the pics that are on that site are daytime pictures, it was just a bit overcast that day. and my digi cam is old, so the pics aren't that high in quality. most of the maintenance has been done within the last 6 months. An oil change and coolant flush within the last 500 miles. what type of details are you looking for?

I am just curious about the dash needles in one of the pics it looks like one or two might be burnt out?
Also just wondering if there is any underbody rust and what condition the front tires are in?
Also do the brakes (rotors) still need to be turned?
And if you could take a couple extra pictures during a sunny day and send them to me I would really appreciate it.

Yeah, the tach and speedo needles are doing the little light dance. There is also a light that is burnt out at 3krpm on the tach. The underbody rust is very minor, and the front tires have a lot of tread life left, I'd say more than 60%. Yes, the brake rotors still need to be turned. For the pics, you will have to wait on those. A friend of mine is currently borrowing the car, and is also pending sale to the same person. I should have the car back this weekend, and I will let you know what's going on with it then.
